The two-legged creature seems busy with something and has started acting strange. But the scent hasn't changed, so I don't know what's going on.

But after we moved, the two-legged creature became much more efficient at hunting and also had more time to play with me. That's pretty nice.

The Two-Legged Creature's Perspective:

Kan Ze was reborn more than ten days before the disaster struck.

In his memories, the nearly hairless kitten dragged over the last scraps of food, stumbling every few steps.

By then, he could no longer move. He had wanted so badly to tell the little one to eat the food and leave him alone, to live well. The little glutton, who was usually so fond of food, didn't steal even a single bite. It lay in his palm and fell silent.

It had been a nightmare.

Back before the disaster, Kan Ze didn't waste time resenting the people and circumstances that had driven him to the brink. He simply took his two cat masters back to his hometown to avoid the first wave of disaster, gathered enough supplies to last for a while, planted crops, and did the things he'd never had time for before.

From being wary at first to surviving anew alongside others in this disaster-stricken land, time would wash everything away.

Everyone would find their own future.

An alternate-world natural disaster and pollution setting, part apocalyptic, with no special abilities, but a technological boom later on.
