[Western Fantasy] Please! The Blacksmith-Loving Elf Cub Is So Adorable!

*

Elves think dwarves are crude, greedy, and obnoxious. Dwarves think elves are arrogant, conceited, and irritating.

After the Midsummer Night celebration, an elven child suddenly appeared in dwarf territory. The dwarves went around asking the elves if any of their children had gone missing, but found no such news. Instead, the elves scolded them for coveting the child.

Dwarves: (◣д◢)

Do they think we're harmless little people just because we haven't shown them what we're made of?

The furious dwarves decided that their entire clan would raise a "crude, greedy, obnoxious" little elf together. They were going to infuriate those elves who looked down on dwarves.

The dwarves carefully raised the little one until they were nearly as tall as the dwarves. Then they started carrying out their plan.

And so, the tiny elven child began hauling around a huge iron hammer and learning smithing from the most skilled artisan in the dwarf clan.

Dwarves (trembling with fear): Maybe we should forget it. Our little one is still so young. What if they get hurt by the hammer?

Little one (raising the hammer): Yay! I'm the god of forging!

When the elves learned there was an elven child in dwarf territory, they secretly went to investigate. Just as expected, they heard the dwarves badmouthing the elves to the little one.

"Little one, the elves think our smithing is too rough. They say we don't care about the environment when we chop down trees. Bad!"

"Little one, the elves think we're greedy for selling weapons. They say we're even greedier than dragons. Bad!"

"Little one, the elves think being short means you're underdeveloped. Every time they see us, they look down their noses at us. Bad!"

Little elf (clenching their fists): Oh! Oh! Elves! Bad!

Elves: ...

Come on! Only the dwarves are obnoxious! Little elves who love smithing are adorable!

P.S.

1. The protagonist shines on their own and has no love interest. A pampered child-raising story with a fairytale-style Western fantasy setting.

Theme: Peace.
