"Are you the Saniwa here?"
The black haori shimmered in the breeze, revealing a bloodstain at the collar as Tsurumaru met her gaze. "Don't let my sudden arrival startle you."
Nearly snapped in two by his former master and gravely wounded, on the brink of becoming a broken blade, Tsurumaru makes himself the wager to give his companions trapped in hell a chance to survive. He becomes the first sword of an abandoned, desolate honmaru.
As they spend time together, he discovers that the Saniwa, who seems gentle and innocent and blushes even when their hands touch, secretly suffers from severe skin hunger.
And the comrades at her side have already fallen into the trap she set, willingly and gladly.
*
After an accident, Yun Zhao becomes a true Saniwa.
In this false yet real world, she hides behind a smile, luring in the beings she once never dared to hope for, and leading them step by step toward the abyss.
"The demon in the bottle longs for freedom, praying for someone to let him out. But when he finally sees the sunlight again, the demon decides to kill the fisherman who saved him."
After hearing her story, the swords intertwine their fingers with hers. The instant they touch, an intensely possessive kiss sends the blood surging through her veins again.
"Does our lord think we will become demons who kill the fisherman?"
She gazes without blinking at the other person and returns the kiss, which seems almost bereft of security.
"No, because I know."
She knows that she is the one longing for someone to save her from her prison, but after receiving no response for so long, her heart has been slowly consumed by darkness...
The demon.
[Reading Guide]
1. Lots of out-of-character moments, and logic goes flying everywhere.
2. The heroine is flawed, and she and the sword boys will save each other and grow together.
3. My writing skills are limited, so please bear with me.
