Luofu's Guide to Getting Back to Work [Honkai: Star Rail]

(Unlimited paragraph comments, feel free) (Dark history, beware, turn back, turn back) There is a kind of misery called having to find a new job after you die. Yueyu, the former general of the Xianzhou Luofu in a parallel world, knows that misery all too well. Luckily, in this world, the general is his close friend. So he doesn't have to worry about finding a new job. The bigger problem might be that his friend in this world is a little... off. Yueyu (slams the table): I just finished fighting, and you put me under house arrest, Jing Yuan? What are you trying to do?! A certain general just smiles without a word. - There's also a kind of pain called everyone thinking there's something wrong with you. Yueyu thinks he's perfectly normal. When he sees himself falling Mara-Struck and growing branches, is there anything wrong with chopping them off with a sword? No, nothing wrong with that. It's absolutely right. Then those people stared at me with such pained looks for ages. After that, Jing Yuan confiscated my weapon and locked me up. Yueyu: ... I think you're all much sicker than I am. Thanks. - As the current general of the Xianzhou Luofu, Jing Yuan has a bit of a problem. How can he get his friend from a parallel world to stay quietly at home and recover properly? He's injured, yet he keeps wandering around outside. It's genuinely worrying. But his friend is sensitive, and his behavior suggests a certain tendency toward self-destruction. Being direct is clearly out of the question. Jing Yuan can only be tactful and find a clever way around it. Jing Yuan: I've worried myself gray trying to keep my friend from another world safe (not really). In the end, he confiscated the other's weapon and threw in a one-month house-arrest package for good measure. - - - Yueyu: I'm fine, really. Nothing wrong with me. Jing Yuan: Mm-hmm, nothing wrong with you. Just focus on healing first. Yueyu: Silence is the color theme of my speechlessness. Original title: "What a Coincidence, I'm a Luofu General Too" First choice for the role: Jing Yuan [Note: 1. The protagonist comes from a parallel timeline in Honkai: Star Rail (an author-created version) and is one of the Cloud Quintet. 2. The protagonist is Mara-Struck and has occasional episodes. 3. The story is half canon plot and half original. My standards are too high, and I can't manage more. 4. If your standards are too high, don't read this. The characters are heavily out of character, so just run. Written purely for fun, for myself.] Theme: May everyone be well.
