Yar is an ordinary human living in the wasteland of the apocalypse. Though this world is full of higher-dimensional monsters that love to eat people, Yar is lucky enough to live a peaceful life in a quiet corner.
Until one day, on his ordinary walk home from school, he was unlucky enough to get eaten by a monster.
Before he could enter the cycle of life again, the monster spat him back out.
The monster muttered, "What is this thing? It doesn't seem to be human. It tastes awful."
Yar protested indignantly, "I am human! What gives you the right to say I taste awful?"

Cheng Shuli is the foulest-tempered senior officer in the military. One day, he was ordered to wipe out a secret cult that worshipped higher-dimensional monsters.
And so he saw a monster spit out a human-shaped object, while the cultists bowed over and over to that "person."
When he went closer, he realized that the "person" looked familiar. His name was Yar, and he had lived next door to Cheng Shuli when they were children.
Cheng Shuli grabbed "Yar" by the collar and demanded:
No human could survive being swallowed by a monster. You're not Yar. What are you?
Yar was starting to doubt his own existence. "I'm just an unlucky, ordinary human!"
Cheng Shuli said coldly, "I don't believe you."
Yar: You used to tug on my little pigtails all the time when we were kids! (σ °A°`)σ How can you deny it?
