[Detective Conan] Let the South Wind Carry You Away

An excerpt from the story:

The boys raced past the window on their bicycles, shouting and jostling.

The one at the front charged ahead, skidded around, then turned back to pick up the wire strippers he'd dropped.

All those pliers looked pretty much alike, but Jinpei Matsuda insisted that the tool he'd brought that day was a pair of "wire strippers."

Just as Izumi Suzu thought he was the only one who'd do something like that, Kenji Hagiwara pulled his end-cutting pliers out of his pocket.

She understood why they were childhood friends.

- My favorite kind of heart-wrenching story, and my favorite kind of bittersweet regret (.)
