Nothing to do with love or hate, just obsession
Xu Xuanhui, the youngest son of the Xu family, was kidnapped as a child. At last, at the age of twenty, he is found and brought home.
Just as everyone expected, he is thin, withdrawn, and crude, completely out of place in high society.
He is nowhere near as good as Xu Yeming, the child the Xu family adopted.
On the surface, though, the brothers seem to get along well, treating each other with brotherly affection, as if they truly see each other as family.
But surely there's plenty of friction in private, isn't there? Thinking of the Xu family's vast fortune, everyone can't help but speculate.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Is it because you hate me?" Xu Xuanhui slowly brushes the damp hair at Xu Yeming's temple behind his ear and whispers against his ear.
Xu Yeming's unfocused gaze gradually sharpens. His voice is hoarse as he answers, "No... I don't hate you..."
"You still aren't angry after all that?" Xu Xuanhui pretends to be troubled. "You really are an idiot."

Xu Xuanhui knows full well that he's twisted and difficult to get along with, and that he's especially cruel and wanton in the way he treats Xu Yeming.
He's a huge stumbling block on the smooth, happy path Xu Yeming should have had. If he disappeared from this world, a good person like Xu Yeming could live the good life he deserves.
But Xu Yeming is too foolish. He takes the stumbling block for a precious jade and carefully enshrines him in his heart.
Xu Xuanhui sits on the altar, swinging his legs carelessly and scattering the incense smoke into the air.
"Xu Yeming, why do you worship me when I've treated you so badly?" he says softly.
Xu Yeming, kneeling in prayer, doesn't react.
"I know you can hear me." For some reason, Xu Xuanhui is irritated. He floats down from the altar and tugs at Xu Yeming, kneeling on the ground, trying to make him stand. "Don't worship me! Don't offer yourself up as a sacrifice to me!"
But after being worshipped by Xu Yeming day and night, he can no longer control him as freely as he once did. Xu Yeming, by contrast, only has to reach out and pull him close to hold him tightly.
Xu Yeming buries his face against Xu Xuanhui's stomach and speaks softly. His words and breath pass through Xu Xuanhui's half-real, half-illusory body, leaving him almost trembling. "We're family. We're meant to be together."

All the occult elements are made up by me.
Both Xuanhui and Yeming can refer to the moon.
A good man x an "evil ghost." Writing my own indulgent material.
A good man's obsession, an evil ghost's repentance, someone who wants to control everything being controlled by another, and a noble person who refuses to let go, suffering and falling into depravity. It's a gloomy, subtle, damp story, like the humid weather of late spring.
There's a scene early on where the bottom plays with the top's body, but I'm not very good at writing that kind of thing, so don't get your hopes up.
The bottom is more of a villain, not a good ghost.
The top is a good person, but becomes a bit less good later on.
They aren't blood-related and aren't listed in the same household register. After being brought home, the bottom asks not to be added to the family register.
