Synopsis

Jiangze Cheyi, a well-known online novelist, suddenly died one night while staying up late to update his story. When he woke up, he found that he had transmigrated into a fanfic based on his favorite game.

Good news: It really was a fanfic based on his favorite game.

Bad news: Danganronpa.

More good news: He had been bound to a System, which told him he was only there to make up the numbers. All he had to do was quietly play an NPC, and even if he died, he could come back to his original world.

More bad news: That was only if he survived until the time set by the System.

System: “Please rest assured, Host. This System will do everything in its power to keep you alive.”

Jiangze Cheyi: ...

Well, he was already here, so what else could he do? He'd just have to survive. Who could possibly outlast him? (Sobs.)

And so, as the Super High School Level Novelist, Jiangze Cheyi entered the game and began his miserable, unlucky life in it.

A few weeks later, the System watched as Jiangze Cheyi's location increasingly overlapped with that of the troublesome second male lead, and as he showed more and more signs of taking over the original troublemaker's role. The System sank into thought...

Wasn't this guy's mission to be an ordinary NPC?

Stop stealing the original second male lead's job, you idiot!

Jiangze Cheyi: ?

What? Am I not NPC enough? :D

Bonus scene:

One page in Jiangze Cheyi's little black notebook rates his classmates like this...

[Hojo Kawajo: A super gentle, patient, and reliable protagonist!

Senga Mitsuha: A super smart second male lead with incredible powers of observation!

Kiyono Nao: A super rational and levelheaded heroine!

And finally, me!

A super, super, super-super ordinary NPC!]

The protagonist's mental state might be just a tiny bit questionable, but it's nothing serious :D

The author isn't very smart. The cases in this story reflect the author's intelligence, so they may be a little childish and illogical. Please bear with me, thank you QAQ

This story is written purely for love.

I made up the characters' names on the spot. I'm not very good at naming things, sorry!

Theme: I hope the impossible will never be buried

Currently Reading or Caught Up (2): Protagonist Fan Edition

Mostly stories with male characters and BL, and lots of fanworks. I’ll remove anything that hits a sore spot or just doesn’t appeal to me. My principle is: if I enjoy it, that’s what matters. The first one is next door.

Danganronpa Fanfiction

Original Danganronpa-style stories with decent plots, no crossovers, and serious narratives written by the authors themselves. They're all troublemakers, though, and most have white-haired characters. No original-canon characters and no CP.

I usually like reading original Danganronpa fanfics. These are some I've read recently that are still updating. If you've read any others, could you recommend them?

Danganronpa Fanfiction

Danganronpa fanfiction: sixteen original characters in a killing game, no romance. Lots of troublemakers (though I did sneak in some personal favorites).
