I Didn't Expect You to Be This Kind of Beta

Yu Yan, a C-list actor, was set up by his manager. He was drugged while accompanying someone for drinks, and woke up lying beside a stranger alpha.

With no memory of what happened and his mind completely blank, Yu Yan grabbed his shoes and ran before he could even get dressed.

Luckily, he was only a beta. Even if something had happened between him and that alpha, no one would be able to tell.

After dealing with his manager, he found himself at risk of losing his job.

Just as Yu Yan was at his wit's end, the agent of an award-winning actor unexpectedly reached out and chose him as the actor's costar in an upcoming film.

How could a good opportunity like this possibly fall to him?

Rumor had it that the actor was taciturn, disliked making friends, and especially hated people intruding on his private life.

Desperate to keep his job, Yu Yan nervously accepted the offer.

To do his job well, he stayed up late studying the script and even learned the actor's daily routine, doing his best not to disturb his rest.

But the longer Yu Yan spent on set, the more he felt that the actor's gaze was strange.

Was this a warning?

Didn't alphas all have a strong sense of territory?

Shen Xiangming was an alpha over thirty who still had no omega of his own, and his family constantly criticized him for it.

His mother grew anxious and arranged for an omega she knew well to get close to him. She thought she would soon have a grandchild to dote on, but then someone unexpected showed up and got there first.

A beta whose name no one even knew had beaten her to it.

Shen Xiangming's mother suddenly understood: her son liked betas.

The plan had fallen through, and the award-winning actor Shen Xiangming had slept with the wrong beta. Now he quietly watched that beta inquire about his likes and dislikes while pretending not to know him.

He found it rather amusing.

Heh!
