Qi Yan, the leader of the empire's rebel forces, is reborn.
The good news: He has a chance to stop the insect swarm from destroying the garbage planet.
The bad news: He's an alpha who has somehow presented as an omega.
To investigate the truth behind the destruction of the garbage planet, Qi Yan decides to infiltrate the military academy. But he ends up assigned to the Horticulture College, nicknamed the "Garden of Brides-to-Be."
Qi Yan: "Damn it, I'll show you who's taking care of whom!"
Qi Yan would rather throw a punch than say a word, and soon becomes the campus terror, an omega feared by the alphas.
While investigating the truth, Qi Yan decides to get his rebellion underway early.
Starting from zero is too hard and exhausting. This life, he plans to back someone new into power first, then seize control for himself.
After carefully weighing his options, Qi Yan picks the Third Prince, whom he happened to save.
Asta is a beta prince with half-commoner blood, low status, and no favor from the court. He also dies young.
A weak, kind, innocent little flower, with big, watery eyes. He looks like a pushover!
But he's so thin and pitiful, always getting bullied. He looks like he'll die easily.
Qi Yan rolls up his sleeves. "I'll fatten him up before I butcher him!"
-
To survive in the royal family,
Asta is forced to be weak, forced to be kind, forced to be an innocent little flower.
He hates this version of himself, and grows ever more dark and obsessive inside.
Until Asta meets an unusual omega and gets a taste for the sweetness of being weak.

Later-
"The Empire's Blade," Marshal Qi, sits on the edge of the bed with scratch marks all over his back, questioning his life choices. Behind him, the newly crowned emperor sleeps soundly.
It seems the coup succeeded, and he did butcher him, but why does something still feel off?
Qi Yan takes a deep drag from his cigarette and reaches his final, anguished conclusion.
It's all because those eyes are so big!
