A free story, not contracted. I'm only posting the chapters I already have; there may not be more, and it may not have an ending.
A girl transferred from Tokyo into Kageyama's class.
On her first day, she walked into the classroom with a blank expression, looking frighteningly cold.
...Definitely not someone to mess with. That was everyone's first impression of Tsukikawa Anri.
But she was completely different from how she looked. Tsukikawa always had a cold expression, but she was kind to others and almost never turned down a request.
A kindhearted girl who was cold on the outside but warm on the inside quickly won over the whole class.
Only her deskmate, Kageyama, was lukewarm toward her.
Everyone wondered if Kageyama had some kind of grudge against Tsukikawa.
But from Kageyama's perspective:
This person is tall, with long arms and physical abilities far beyond those of an ordinary person.
She's interested in volleyball and chose it for P.E. on her own.
With such great natural gifts...
Just then, a volleyball came flying toward Tsukikawa Anri. She calmly got into position to receive it, her form clean and beautiful to watch
And then she dodged the ball's path perfectly.
Kageyama Tobio: ...
She can't get a pass over, reaches her hands across the net when blocking, and can't even touch the ball when spiking...
She can't even manage the most basic forearm pass?
Not even one? Really?

Tsukikawa Anri has a hair-trigger tear response.
Even when she doesn't mean to, the slightest excitement can make her start crying.
As a result, all sorts of little things turn into big deals once she starts crying.
Tsukikawa Anri has cursed herself countless times. Why can't these tears just stop?
She keeps her emotions under control, trying to at least look calm and collected. Over time, she came to seem unapproachable.
Until she chose volleyball for P.E., something she'd never tried before, to get material for her manga.
Then she was paired with her deskmate for forearm passes, and no matter what, she couldn't get the ball over.
Thinking she was letting down her genius deskmate, famous in the volleyball club, Tsukikawa Anri kept her expression cool, but her body wouldn't obey. Her tears came gushing out in a flash.
Her deskmate was startled and stumbled backward in shock.
Then the P.E. teacher roared, "Kageyama, you made that girl cry!"
...She knew this was how it would go!
Sorry, Kageyama! She'll go die to atone for it right now!!!
"Tsukikawa? Get down from the windowsill! Kageyama, what are you standing there for? Hurry up and pull her down!"
"...Huh?"
A school comedy. The girl is a complete sports idiot. Nozaki may make a few appearances.
The girl is probably the type who looks unruffled even as the sky falls, while internally she's wailing and making a bigger drama of things than anyone else.
The blurb may change, but the central premise won't.
Theme: Have the courage to try unfamiliar things.
