- I've recently been watching the Italian series "My Brilliant Friend" and loved it. So I read the original "Neapolitan Novels" by Elena Ferrante. Inspired by her work, I decided to write a story about two women entangled with each other. Last year, I had an idea for a mystery about two women, but only a few scattered fragments of inspiration. Only now have I figured out how to fill in what's missing. Along with my own experiences and various things I've encountered in society, those ideas have come together into a complete story.
