[This is a pre-registration. I'll leave it here for now and start writing once the novel next door is finished.]
[The original world in this story is an Academy AU parallel world of Bungo Stray Dogs. The anime characters who make guest appearances are all ordinary people of various kinds in this world. The story combines everyday life, a full-dive game, and chaotic transmigration into the main Bungo Stray Dogs world. At heart, it's an oddball slice-of-life story written for fun and relaxation.]
[Ad space: Fans of Ranpo and Dazai are very welcome! I love smart characters, I'm a huge fan of smart characters.]
[Blurb]
You're right, but Bungo Stray Dogs is a massive, full-dive survival game for everyone. Players rely on data from previous games and randomly assigned identities from the start, trying to survive in the supernatural city of Yokohama... I can't remember the first part, and I've forgotten the rest. Anyway, Bungo Stray Dogs, launch!!!
Then Asukabe Suzumeya hit a game bug as soon as he launched it and transmigrated into another "Yokohama" with his game data, where he stared wide-eyed at a bunch of strangers wearing the faces of his friends and family. Well, since things have come to this, might as well start a livestream.jpg
And so, three days later...
"There are so many transmigration geniuses out there, but is this really Suzumeya? Hello, everyone, and welcome to this episode of 'Suzumeya Shows You Yokohama.' I'm your streamer, Asukabe Suzumeya~☆ Due to some technical issues, our livestream commentator Dazai is currently having a real-life brawl with Chuuya, so he won't be joining us for now... Let's welcome this episode's special guest, Mr. Ranpo!!!"
[Mr. Ranpo, blink if your number-one fan has kidnapped you.]
[Is Suzumeya going to the Port Mafia today? Last time you promised you'd yank off "Dazai Osamu's" bandages and run for it. Why the cowardice?]
[Get lost, the plan today was to blow up the Rats in the House of the Dead's base. Somebody get Dazai over here. He's super enthusiastic about this kind of thing.]
[Isn't Chuuya busy passionately fighting Dazai? Let's pick a different target. Maybe we should secretly try to get "Chuuya" drunk first and see if he goes on a drunken rampage too :D]
[How can a livestream this huge have not a shred of decency? Won't someone beat up the streamer if you keep doing this!!!!]
[It's fine, the streamer can run away.]
[No worries, the streamer can think.]
[No worries, the streamer can barbecue.]
[We can win.]
[We can run.]
[We can blink away and make a getaway.]
[Stop stealing the other streamer's cat memes!!!!! Five minutes of shameful logging off, mocked for the rest of your life (cat crying hard).]
Asukabe Suzumeya stared silently at the livestream comments for two minutes, then chose to follow Mr. Ranpo's instructions...
The next day's Yokohama news: "Thank you, Mr. Asukabe of the Military Police, for your contribution to driving out the illegal foreign organization Mimic. Do you have anything you'd like to say?"
Asukabe Suzumeya: "Please give the Hound a raise. Thank you, thank you! I have to support Mr. Ranpo!"
Livestream: 6
Everyone else in "Yokohama": 6
[Tips]
1. No romance, but there will be lots of close, cuddly friendships with catlike characters!
2. Warning: The protagonist is a combat-loving chatterbox who loves putting on a show. He really talks a lot, so don't come in if you can't stand the noise (?).
3. The protagonist's name is Asukabe Suzumeya. Because of someone's quirky pronunciation, his nickname is "Suya." It sounds really cute, so please do read it aloud and see for yourself (?).
4. I didn't expect this. That's all for now.
Theme: If you get involved with the underworld carelessly, your friends and family will be the ones to suffer.
