The protagonist is a wage slave who can't stand seeing characters get bad endings.
Some characters die as a way to elevate their character or move the plot forward.
Some characters die because of the world's malice or because their characterization falls apart.
But either way, the protagonist hates it.
So when he gets bound to a System of random mystery boxes and tossed into other worlds, he decides to exploit every loophole he can find and bring a happy ending to every world he visits.
The mystery box System is infamous and incredibly powerful throughout the Myriad Worlds.
Its previous owners were all ruthless monsters.
They took advantage of the original characters' painful pasts and innermost desires, tempting them to trade money, abilities, lives, or even their souls for mystery boxes that might contain hope.
They exploited their monopoly, using tricks like tampering with the boxes before selling them, lowering the drop rates, and splitting one skill into eight separate products to sell. They kept growing stronger, leaving devastation in their wake before moving on to another world.
As the latest owner of the mystery box System, the protagonist stares at the System panel and falls into thought.
Protagonist: "Besides money, life force, combat power, emotions, flesh and blood, lifespan, and souls, is there anything else that can be traded for mystery boxes?"
System: "Of course. In this sorcery world, for example, you can ask people to trade the Six Eyes, cursed techniques, cursed energy, or Heavenly Restriction."
Protagonist: "What about the feel of Gojo Satoru's abs?"
System: "...?"
Well, that opens up all kinds of possibilities.
Life is hard enough already. At least the fictional worlds should be a little sweeter.
Within the System's rules, he is willing to do everything he can,
using mystery boxes to bring every world a happy ending.
A product of getting carried away while catching up on shows. Probably a crossover with various anime, and maybe a chaotic mix with Marvel and DC. The protagonist might visit different timelines in the same world, like student Gojo and teacher Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen. In short, he'll save everyone from tragedy.
