My Upperclassman Can't Possibly Be a Weirdo

Just after starting her freshman year, Zhan Ruoxi came across a popular post on the campus forum.

Poster: I'll help you get out of bed. Women only, men stay away. Message me if you're interested, and we can discuss the details.

The comments were full of people cursing the poster.

Zhan Ruoxi was struggling with her own habit of staying in bed. Out of curiosity, she messaged the poster to discuss the details and hired an "alarm clock" for a whole year. Sometimes she'd try to chat with her "alarm clock," but aside from waking her up, it never responded. After a year, the alarm clock disappeared right on schedule.

Zhan Ruoxi felt lost and searched everywhere for her "alarm clock."

In the end, she discovered that it was Xie Lansheng, the department's famously eccentric beauty.

Xie Lansheng was punctual to a fault. She arrived just as class began and left the moment it ended, even if the professor was still lecturing. Most terrifying of all, she kept to the minute on dates, too. If she agreed to half an hour, she wouldn't stay a second longer. Everyone called her a "robot."

Zhan Ruoxi: "?" Her "alarm clock" had such a lovely voice. How could it be an eccentric weirdo?

Unwilling to believe it, Zhan Ruoxi went to confront Xie Lansheng.

But even harder to deal with than a robot was her lazy, unmotivated nature.

Zhan Ruoxi, who admired the strong and loved striving for success, promptly ran away.

The next day, Zhan Ruoxi woke up late and messaged her: "Sis, why didn't you wake me up?"

Xie Lansheng replied with just one word: "Get lost." Even robots have tempers!
