And the private doctor who had a crush on the protagonist bottom always came rushing over in the middle of the night, ready to work without complaint...

“What? You can't come? Your maternal uncle's aunt's niece's cousin's son's grandmother died? Seven of your relatives have died in a week?!”

Listening to the CEO thunder into the phone, Chi Ke wordlessly pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses.

See? I told you office workers were bound to go crazy sooner or later. The private doctor is no exception.

The private doctor, Ji Qian, is the outstanding second son of the Ji family. He pursued his dream of becoming a doctor from childhood, and people say he's as gentle as his name suggests, just like Chi Ke's stereotypical devoted second male lead.

But...

When Chi Ke ran into the private doctor at the mansion's entrance at three in the morning, wearing beach shorts, flip-flops, and an old man's undershirt, he was stunned for once.
