Xia Che puts up with it for seven years, until he finally can’t take it anymore. In a fit of anger, he accepts a transfer and packs his bags to move halfway across the country. Hah! Modern alternate universe where same-sex marriage is legal. A sweet story with a little angst, focused on everyday life rather than the workplace. The setting differs considerably from the real world~ 2. There’s a lot of push and pull. If you dislike the characters, please stop reading. You don’t need to tell me if you drop the novel. Unsolicited writing advice is not welcome. 3. This couple is endgame. Anyone who is particular about character dynamics should stay away. No pairing reversals, role-play, character shipping, controlling-character comments, insults aimed at the other character’s fans, or labeling people. I’ll delete comments like these and any extreme remarks I see. 4. No real-person face swaps. If you do that, your fave will crash and burn and leave the industry for good.
