The age of technology is advancing rapidly. Humanity is using its abilities to create a new world order. Before disappearing, the gods abandoned by their followers left behind a game called Babylon.
Players who enter the game can meet the surviving image of a god in the temple on the eighth floor after clearing all seven floors of the Tower of Babylon, and have a wish granted. Each time they clear a floor, they can also randomly receive a small gift left behind by the gods. Some are huge sums of money, while others are miraculous items.
After completing one of the games on the first floor of Babylon, players can decide whether to continue. Once they end the game, they cannot enter it again. They get only one chance to choose.
Some say this is the gods' kindness. Others say it is their wrath.
Humanity has no way of knowing whether this is a gift from the gods or their revenge.
More than a century has passed. Countless players have perished in the game, yet even more have followed in their footsteps.
Gu Yulin doesn't consider herself a good person. There have only been two occasions when she impulsively reached out to help someone.
The first time she did, she was cursed by a god.
As for the second time, she doesn't know whether it was a blessing or a curse.
P.S. To make the game itself work, the gods don't deal in superstition and won't resolve the problem of the game's existence. The main focus is on a couple clearing stages and falling in love.
This is a bit of a mess, but I'll do my best to update daily.
2024.06.06: I've used up my backlog. From now on, I'll post each arc as soon as I finish writing it.
The new character sheet is weird. I'll just fill it in casually, so don't take it seriously.
A few advance warnings:
1. The female lead has tons of admirers among her exes. She seems passionate but is actually indifferent, while the male lead is rather humble and earnest the first time around.
2. The author does whatever she wants, and there are detailed plotlines about the female lead's relationships with her exes.
3. There are quite a few arcs. I'll write as I go, so there's some chance of contradicting established details.
4. This is a work for practicing romance writing, but there's a chance the female lead's rampages will take up more of the story.
Theme: Let the wind and rain fall as they may, I'll live my life as I please
