After they confessed their feelings and kissed, Yinling believed Xie Buyan loved her. She lost herself in their relationship, gradually lowering her proud head and giving herself to him wholeheartedly.

Later still, Yinling learned that she was a substitute for Xie Buyan's dead first love!

At first, she didn't believe it, not until Xie Buyan gave her a cup of poisoned tea, just like the confidant who had betrayed her...

As she left her body, she said, "Xie Buyan, I will never forgive you."

But she couldn't understand it. If he didn't love her, fine, but why did he have to kill her?

Much later, Yinling remembered everything and understood it all. She hadn't loved him before. Only after becoming an amnesiac ghost and a fallen Ghost King did she gradually learn what love was. After he left, Yue Qikui wiped the grease from her mouth with righteous indignation.

To avoid being killed by Fu Chengxing, the villainous demon lord, and still complete her mission and go home, she tried one plan and failed. With no other choice, she played the "first love falls for someone else" card to force the male lead to see through the Heavenly Dao and achieve greatness. But why was the male lead so useless? Was it really that hard to see through the Heavenly Dao?

It looked like there was only one last move!

Yue Qikui sighed and pressed a button on the System's screen.

The button said: Fake Death.
