Good news: I signed a top-tier man to model for my unmentionable creative work. His dangerous, alluring qualities make inspiration pour forth day and night, and my pen practically writes by itself.
Bad news: The model really is dangerous. He kills without blinking, and my ex-boyfriend's deranged behavior has made him furious. While I pretend not to know anything, the model opens his bright green eyes and reveals that he's a werewolf.

"Bonds Begin with Taming Your Childhood Friend!"
The newest buzzword on the Grand Line is "childhood-friend taming."
It all started when Monkey D. Luffy, a rising pirate star from the East Blue, punched Buggy the Clown into the air. With a fierce look in his eyes, he shouted, "...She's my childhood friend!" Childhood sweethearts, close as can be: such a beautiful bond always moves people.
"You rubber-headed bastard! I've known Charls since we were kids!" Buggy shouted furiously, pointing at his own nose as his body, blown apart into pieces, spun back together.
"Quit talking nonsense! I've never seen you on Mount Colubo!" Luffy answered with an equally angry punch, his arm stretching out. The straw-hatted boy pulled it back, his expression furious and dark. "Where the hell did you hide Charls?!!"
Next, one of the Four Emperors, Shanks, Marine Admiral Aokiji, and even the terrifying genius scientist Caesar all declared that they had a childhood friend, too. Stranger still, once the fog cleared and the truth came out, everyone discovered they were all talking about the same person.

As Luffy took a bloody beating, he resolutely put himself in danger, too. "Since you want their approval so badly that you're willing to risk your life for it, then I'll wait here with you." His pale green eyes reflected the boy's battered, bloodied face, and his gaze shone with an awe-inspiring resolve.
"Wah, wah, Charls, don't! Go back... I, I don't want you to die, too!" The boy, who had long since been too weak to struggle or shout, screamed again. Tears blurred his vision, turning everything into a series of magnifying glasses, and each hoarse cry grew more desperate than the last.

Ace lowered his head, his black curls hiding his expression, but his hand clenched tight. "...Why do you care about Luffy the most? We grew up together, too... Sabo and I."
All he got in reply was a soft sigh.

Two bottles of milk rested atop his curly black hair. The boy wore denim overalls and lazily handed one to the girl, who was about his height. "Here." "Oh, thanks! You're the best, Kuzan! I forgive you!"
"...You forgive me that easily? Honestly, I give up." The boy scratched his head helplessly, then casually changed the subject. "So, what do you think? Are you coming with me to join the Marines or not?"
"Ehhhh?" The girl drew out the last syllable like juice dripping from a crisp green grape. She turned around playfully, her hands behind her back. "I don't like the Marines... but if you want to go, Kuzan, I'll go with you. It's not like I can stay with you forever... Mm-mm."
"Don't say the rest. We'll always be together, Charls." Kuzan covered the girl's mouth with one hand, the corners of his own clearly turned down. As her figure grew more and more transparent, he felt a deep helplessness, as if he were at the bottom of the sea, with endless water crushing his lungs until all he could do was breathe out tiny bubbles.
How can I make you stay?

His brown horns kept growing backward, their tips curling into small, blunt loops. His black-purple hair streamed behind him as he ran. A white lab coat hung over his arm, which cradled a pile of paper bags, while an eerie, pale purple gas seemed to surround him. Caesar rushed toward the figure watering the plants in the flower bed. "Shurorororo! Charls, look what I bought! Shurorororo!"
"What is it this time?"
"It's a drug from the North Blue that can alter your blood and genes. If you take it, shurorororo..." Caesar floated in the air, circling the figure from side to side. His words trailed off when he met those pale green eyes.
Gentle, sly, and always sparkling with mischief, those eyes could never make anyone dislike her. They curved slightly. "What is this, Caesar? You work so hard that I'll start thinking you really like me. In that case, even if it comes to nothing, I should still praise you properly."
Amber-red pupils sat within eyes that slanted upward at the corners. His mouth turned down into a broad, upside-down U, and strange features scattered across his dusky purple face came together in a bizarre contradiction. Just like now: the towering figure hunched his shoulders, like a rebellious fox or a tame, oversized dog. His pride showed plainly, but his true feelings were lost in the way he expressed them.
"Hmph! Just behave and be my test subject. Hurry up and grow bigger! What kind of person acts like a child all the time?"
If I don't develop it soon... she'll die. Black-purple hair concealed his eyes as the bizarre scientist let out an equally bizarre laugh. The gas slowly spread, surrounding the girl with her hands on her hips. No. No one could take Caesar-sama's treasure away, not even the Grim Reaper!

"Red or blue!"
"Which do you like better!"
A blue head and a red one leaned in from either side, their eyes practically crackling with sparks.
"Hahahaha! Talking to Miss 'Ghost' again, Shanks and Buggy?"
"Captain! I've told you, Charls is a fairy, not a ghost!"
"A fairy? I don't think I've ever heard of a fairy who can turn invisible. If you two keep arguing, Miss Fairy might get annoyed and leave. Hahaha!"
"Charls would never do that! Only Shanks and I can see Charls! She'd never leave us! Right, Charls?" The blue-haired boy with the buzz cut shouted at the empty air, desperately seeking confirmation.
"Is that so...? I get the feeling you're the one who can't bear to be apart from Charls, Buggy."
"Captain!!"
