The Frail Assistant Is the Mastermind

The world changed, and the appearance of "instances" gave humans supernatural abilities of varying ranks.

Superpowered heroes gathered together and formed guilds like those in a video game.

The Burning Winter Guild ranked among the best in the world and had several S-rank heroes. Yet a seemingly frail, handsome young man with a B rank and no useful abilities had somehow secured the position of assistant to the guild chairman.

Even the S-rank heroes, who were usually unruly, antisocial, and foul-tempered, treated him with utmost respect.

Even the guild chairman, Ji Dongyan, hailed as the strongest weapon on the planet, regarded him with special favor.

Outsiders were intensely curious about what made this young man, Ling Jue, so exceptional.

.

What they didn't know was...

To the S-rank heroes, Ling Jue was ordinary, and yet not ordinary at all.

Perhaps it was because he looked so fragile, yet always gave everything he had for others, stirring their desire to protect him.

But one day, they were all pulled into an SSS-rank instance and surrounded by elite monsters.

At the critical moment, Ji Dongyan carefully shielded Ling Jue, ready to risk his life and fight a way out for his little assistant.

But in the next instant, every monster in the instance bowed at Ling Jue's feet and called him "Master."

Everyone stared in shock: So you're the boss!
