Le Lan is twenty-seven this year and has been on blind dates for three years. After his 508th blind date ends in failure, his mother finally kicks him out of the house.

His mother lays down the law: Don't come back until you find someone to marry!

Le Lan spends half a day crouching gloomily on the street, until a terrible friend suggests a terrible idea.

His friend's exact words: Go wait outside the civil affairs bureau. Find someone getting divorced who looks good to you, and approach them.

Le Lan: Great idea!

After his mother kicks him out, Le Lan rushes back home to grab his household registration booklet. He leaves with a quick, “I'm going to get married,” then dashes to the civil affairs bureau while his mother stares in disbelief. Just before the office closes, he finally catches a tall young woman who has just gotten divorced.

Although she's even taller than him, that's not important!

Le Lan: Hey, beautiful, let me introduce myself. I have a car and a house, I run a bakery, and I earn over ten thousand a month. Would you consider marrying me?

Beauty: Let's go.

Overjoyed, Le Lan drags her into the civil affairs bureau, completing the big event of his marriage in the final second before the staff clock out.

With a wife, Le Lan feels completely at ease and gets ready to settle into married life. Then he suddenly sees that his wife's bird is bigger than his!

Le Lan: ?

Le Lan: !

Le Lan, horrified: You're a man?!

The beauty lets down his long hair and leans back on the sofa, elegantly swirling his wineglass. “You didn't know I was a man?!”

Le Lan: “...I...”

Having married a husband, Le Lan doesn't dare tell his parents, so he has to ask the beauty to pretend to be a woman.

To get the beauty into a floral dress, Le Lan grits his teeth and agrees to the beauty's little request.

Later, pinned beneath him on the bed, Le Lan is on the verge of tears. He bites his arm in anguish, wishing he hadn't mistaken a hunk for a delicate wife.
