What Canary? I'm a Kitty!

Chi Sui'an knows that he's a sickly little cat who won't live long.

But he has the very best owner in the world:

Someone who cooks for him by hand, kisses his sightless eyes, holds him in their arms, and tenderly tells him he's the cutest little cat in the world.

Someone who even gave him a name: Sui'an, meaning peace and safety year after year.

But he still closed his eyes one winter. When he opened them again, he'd somehow become human!

Chi Sui'an happily goes to find his former owner, only to be told that his owner, Bo Siheng, is a terrifying monster with no feelings. He brings misfortune to his family and friends, is destined to be alone, and anyone who gets close to him will come to a bad end.

"Is that true?"

The young man gives Bo Siheng, who's cooking him a nutritious meal, a little kick.

"They're lying to you."

Bo Siheng coldly sends his subordinates a message to deal with the trash. After slipping his phone into his apron pocket, he smiles warmly again.

"They're just jealous that I have a cat."

The young man smiles with his pretty, sightless eyes and agrees. "Exactly!"

"I even came back as a human to keep you company!"

Bo Siheng, head of the Bo family, has been emotionally detached since childhood. As an adult, he's become domineering and arbitrary, and everyone calls him a monster behind his back. The one exception was a stray cat he'd once taken in:

Frailty and timid, with eyes that had some problems, but beautiful and obedient. In the end, though, it didn't survive the winter.

Someone found out what he liked and sent him a little beauty who looked exactly the same, blind and unbearably sweet.

But it took only one glance for him to know that it was his cat.

Reader's guide:

1. A sweet 1v1 romance, both each other's first love. The cat is reborn as a human; the story opens after he's already human, and his eyesight will improve later.

2. A healing romance: a beautiful, sunny bottom and an attack who's not quite right in the head.
