The Long Climb

* Rich, sweet girl x poor top student

* Half school life, half urban life

The summer of their sophomore year, Chen Anhe saw Qi Yan for the first time. The young man was handsome and aloof, tall and straight-backed. Wearing jeans faded from countless washes, he was working outside a convenience store.

Chen Anhe sat in a white Bentley, sipping an iced soda. Her best friend whispered, "He's the transfer student who came first in the whole school, but I heard his family is having a hard time."

Neither of them could have imagined that the young man and woman, worlds apart, would become entangled in an unforgettable first love, only for it to end abruptly that summer after the college entrance exams.

When they met again, Qi Yan appeared on the interview show hosted by Chen Anhe as an outstanding young entrepreneur. Chen Anhe glanced over and locked eyes with the man in the gray suit.

The man had completely shed the awkwardness of youth. His sharp gaze lowered slightly, every look so direct it made her heart tremble.

Chen Anhe would never know how long and arduous the journey he had made to reach this day had been.
