[(Police Cadet: Phoenix) Man Ji/Man Qiao] If I Became a Memory

If I Become a Memory Tank I'm tired, but as usual, I struggle to stay awake. And as usual, I miss you. I'm afraid that if I let go and fall asleep, my heartbeat will stop misbehaving in my dreams. Listen, my breathing rises and falls like the tide. The more beautiful it is, the more uneasy I feel. What can I still cherish if I can barely even control my own pulse? If I become a memory, if I leave this life behind, leaving you stunned and in tears, my cold body won't be able to hold you. Thinking of the one I love most, left to travel alone through a sea of people, I would hate myself for being so cruel. If I become a memory, if my luck finally runs out, I'll never get the chance to grow old with you, walking hand in hand, watching the sunset fade. In the long stretch of time, one day your heartache will heal. If there's someone who can, let them stay by your side. I won't blame you. When will happiness come to an end? Which moment will be the last? I want to hold you tight, knowing you're the one thing in my life I can't bear to lose. If I become a memory, what I fear most is that I won't have the strength to leave, stubbornly lingering in the air, taking up every inch of space in your heart, forcing you, who still love me, to suffer through the loss. That wouldn't be fair. Please, do your best to forget me. P.S. This story updates weekly, with 2-3 chapters every Sunday... Theme:
