The full novel is complete. It is posted on CP, and I’ll finish moving it over in about a month.
Wen Yan is the vicious supporting male character in a xianxia romance. He targets the kindhearted protagonist, Hua Tang, while deeply in love with the devoted second male lead, the Immortal Venerable Yu Yao. But after Yu Yao lets the protagonist’s love interest, the Outland Heavenly Demon Mo Yan, go despite being gravely wounded for Hua Tang’s sake, Wen Yan finally gives up on him.
After giving up, Wen Yan goes into seclusion in the middle of the bustling city and runs an unpopular talisman shop, secretly building up his strength while waiting to deliver the final, deadly blow expected of a vicious supporting character. But one day, a hundred years later, the cold and aloof Immortal Venerable steps into Wen Yan’s little shop and reenters his life with an intimate air.
Wen Yan is the gong and the wife. This is a “chasing the wife to the crematorium” story, and Yu Yao is the shou.
Wen Yan gives up right at the beginning, and the whole novel is Yu Yao’s long road to redemption (the real angst starts in Chapter 23). Yu Yao hurt Yan Yan deeply before, and Yan Yan never falls for him again. The ending is not a conventional HE: even at the end, Yan Yan hasn’t accepted Yu Yao’s feelings or treated him kindly. This is an atypical partner swap. In the later part, Yu Yao is utterly devoted to Yan Yan, who becomes his whole world.
This is a slow burn, with a relatively complex plot. The truth behind many things is only revealed in the middle and later parts. The romance is the main focus, but there are many plot elements woven in.
This is truly the author’s first novel, and it has many shortcomings (for example, the plot structure is overly complicated). Please be understanding.
Other works in the author’s collection

Theme: Respect and love yourself
I went to Changpei to read this book. My personal evaluation is relatively simple: it is difficult to read my wife's book in Jinjiang. Readers in Jinjiang are not very interested in lengthy descriptions of the protagonist upgrading and fighting monsters in small worlds and illusions.
Indeed, those who only have love in their hearts, or who love more than responsibility, are not worthy of this position.
It's really not worthy. Gong is very principled and sober, and the writing is really good.
Ah ah ah, trash, stay away from my treasure. Bah, you still have a chess piece in your hand. Are you worthy?
Okay, I collected it first when I saw that the crematorium was being chased but I couldn't catch it. I'm looking forward to it.
Although there are obvious flaws in this baby's first book, it is still very well written!!
It is true that there may not be good people in the demon clan. Depending on the setting, it may be purely malicious; but there should be people who are forced to go to hell in the demon cultivator, unless the so-called "right path" is really completely clean, but this possibility is almost non-existent.
The author's writing style is quite good, but this talent is so irritating in the second chapter and I have to endure him for more than 20 chapters before he starts to abuse... Qwq
I read the full text of cp, chapter 46, and the torture started at age 23... Please tell me, was it miserable in the early stage to attack treasures (prepare blood pressure medication)
