As an ordinary girl living in the slums of Yokohama, Usui Aoi's mood went up and down, until she met a little orange cat that could find its own territory.

She quickly won over the orange cat she liked using a primary school textbook, hoping to begin her life as a cat servant. What she hadn't counted on was that the orange cat's big brother was too powerful in a fight. Aoi could only write him a tearful letter and leave without saying goodbye.

After graduating from university, Aoi returned to Yokohama for work and fit right in at her new workplace. She thought she could finally live a comfortable life slacking off, but one day, Hat Rack, now a majestic big cat, fell from the sky...
