Sensory Deception

[If you knew that our story would ultimately end in disappointment, would you still be willing to begin it?]

(BL. If you've read The Plan to Promote, I don't recommend this story. That's all, I'm on my knees apologizing to everyone.)

Blurb 1:

A helicopter flew over the village. Its rotor blades beat the air, producing a massive, high-pitched pulsing roar. A black speck appeared at the hatch, then left the helicopter. It jumped.

The long-haired man shuddered in fright, cried, “Good heavens!” and scrambled out of the sports car. Zhang Yizhou, however, stood beside the car without moving. He even opened his arms, as if to catch the figure falling from high above, growing clearer by the second.

Amid the crowd's cries of alarm, a brightly colored paraglider popped open. Like a cloud pulled down by gravity, it drifted toward the earth. The day Xiang Yun descended from the sky was a windless summer day, but in Zhang Yizhou's world, the wind howled through every room.

Blurb 2:

Ultra-capitalist X state-owned-company sweetheart

Perhaps love can overcome distance, social class, and the world's arrogance and prejudice.

But when love becomes an obstacle to your ideals, overcome love.

From love at first sight to a life of endless bickering,

our love meant nothing at all in the face of our respective ambitions.

[Connection to The Plan to Promote: The story was inspired by the leads and could be considered a parallel-universe version of their story, but the plots aren't really connected. It's completely standalone.]

Thanks for reading this far~
