Shi Ye Liqiu is a cheerful young police officer. She ranked at the bottom of her police academy class, but she's brave and full of drive. Upon graduation, she was assigned to the First Investigation Division... or, more accurately, to manage the official seals at the dispute-reporting desk in the mediation office across the street.

Her original career goal was to catch major criminals. Though murders had been happening one after another in Beika Town lately, her ambition had shifted to solving major criminal cases. Instead, she was stuck stamping forms on an assembly line...

Deeply disappointed, she happened to run into a colleague whose undercover operation had failed.

To observe the criminals up close, her colleague had opened a crepe stand across from their hideout. Unfortunately, his undercover crepe stand was a complete disaster. Shi Ye Liqiu was the only person in the entire police station who could make a round crepe, so she was forced to step in and become an undercover agent gathering intelligence from behind a crepe stand.

A suspicious man in a black trench coat and sunglasses showed up. He was about to wipe her out, so in desperation, she made him a crepe.

"This crepe..." He took off his sunglasses, revealing tearful eyes beneath them.

It was so good it made him cry...

Shi Ye Liqiu's crepe stand became wildly popular. In a fit of frustration, she shut it down. To keep an eye on the bad guys, she took over the restaurant across the street instead, raised the prices, and cut down on the seating. Let's see who still dares come eat undercover food!

Someone from the distillery across the street ordered takeout... It was so good it made them cry...

Shi Ye Liqiu's cafeteria became wildly popular all over again...

She was busier than ever, cooking meals and delivering takeout, and even made the top of Beika Town's review rankings.

She couldn't keep up, so she hired a waiter. He had blond hair and dark skin, and was holding a spatula. He looked like he knew his way around a kitchen.

Shi Ye Liqiu was about to forget she was on an undercover mission. She was making a fortune, and even the underlings at the distillery across the street were on friendly terms with her. Before long, their boss came over to ask if she wanted to take over catering for their cafeteria.

Shi Ye Liqiu couldn't help calling her superior. "Boss, at this rate, I'm really going to become a business tycoon."

In the shadows, the blond, dark-skinned waiter beside her answered a phone call. "Just wait a little longer... I'll be sitting in the boss's seat soon, too."
