Secret Identity Extractor

Mu Ruiling was the ultimate homebody, a perfect blend of shut-in and social-anxiety sufferer. With an inheritance large enough to last her whole life, she never left home. Then, after pulling an all-nighter gaming, she dropped dead on the spot.

The good news: She died and transmigrated, and the world she ended up in was set in the future.

The bad news: It was a novel. Her original body was a background character who had run away from home, fallen into the hands of space pirates, and was about to die. On top of that, the world would face an invasion by alien species in a year.

Mu Ruiling watched as the tall, burly, wicked space pirates prepared to kill her on the spot. Just then, the System came online.

The System called itself the “Big Shot Extractor.” Its pitch was “turn your fate around and make a comeback in life.” It sounded like it could save her life and keep her fed and entertained. In reality, every big shot came with an insanely powerful nemesis. The moment it rescued the original body, the nemesis's schemes plunged her into a hellish start.

She promptly created secret identities like crazy, then used them to set up the nemesis, unleashing one devastating move after another and taking everyone out.

After that, people across the stars noticed that several of the big shots famous throughout their star system had gone crazy. Their fights and brawls injured countless bystanders, and even a stray dog walking along the road could get kicked twice.

Everyone was terrified and avoided them like the plague.

Then, a year later, the alien species invaded, and the crazed big shots found themselves a new target.

The people of Alhai Star ate living creatures. One day, they discovered a star system filled with the smell of delicious food. Delighted, they launched an invasion, only to be met by several figures.

That night, the people of Alhai Star suffered an unprecedented defeat. From then on, they embarked on a long path of getting knocked down, getting back up, and getting knocked down again.
