After I Died, I Found Out She Loved Me

Yan Yun and Qi Qingci shared the same master, cultivated together, and ascended in the same year. Everyone said they were a match made in heaven.

But Yan Yun had always held a grudge against Qi Qingci, because Qi Qingci had always treated her with the utmost coldness. Their bond had been formed only because the Marriage Register decreed it, in accordance with Heaven's will.

Later, when Yan Yun decided to sacrifice herself to seal the Demon-Subduing Formation, she was suddenly shoved aside as she reached the formation.

The aloof, distant woman stood at the formation's center and leaped down from the clouds, offering herself in the ritual in Yan Yun's place.

Only then did Yan Yun learn that Qi Qingci had loved her in silence all along.

Afterward, she was reborn, back at eighteen, while cultivating in the mortal realm. By chance, she found Qi Qingci in a cave.

At the time, Qi Qingci was gravely wounded and at death's door. Yan Yun stayed by her side, caring for her day and night.

But Qi Qingci was nothing like the person Yan Yun remembered...

Yan Yun stared at the bite marks on her wrist, recalling their tender, intimate moment just now, and still couldn't figure out what had gone wrong.

After leaping into the Demon-Subduing Formation that day, Qi Qingci had lost her divine status and some of her cultivation, but at least she had survived.

Just as she was preparing to cultivate again and rebuild her divine status, she ran into her Dao companion, Yan Yun.

Yan Yun, who used to avoid her at every turn, was now uncharacteristically gentle. She held Qi Qingci tightly in her arms, tears streaming down her face, and wept that she would treat her well and begged her not to leave.

Qi Qingci couldn't possibly refuse such a request.

Later, a tale spread through the Heavenly Realm: the True Lord of Bitter Love, Qi Qingci, was so delicate and helpless that she couldn't survive even a moment without her Dao companion, Yan Yun.

P.S. Amnesia trope, one-on-one romance, happy ending
