After I Died, She Said She Loved Me

The heartbreak and pursuit begin after Chapter 28.

Short blurb:

You said you loved me, then said you didn't. After I died, you said you loved me more than life itself.

Rather than choose your fleeting affection and insubstantial remorse, I choose to rule over a land myself, wielding power across the Nine Provinces, deciding who lives and dies.

You took what was mine. Now I'll take your place, seated high upon the throne, and invite you to witness this grand ceremony:

Watch the world and people you love so dearly honor me as their ruler, obey me with reverence, bow and scrape before me, and kneel in submission.

Long blurb:

Lin Wangshu fell off a cliff and lost her memory. By a twist of fate, she met a Venerable.

The Venerable wore a blue robe and possessed peerless grace. Her manner was gentle and dignified. She was none other than the leader of the immortal sects, the Qingyao Immortal Venerable, Bijue.

Lin Wangshu thought Bijue loved her deeply. She never imagined that Bijue's lovemaking was part of a calculated scheme. On their wedding night, Bijue plunged a knife into her heart.

*

Later, as Bijue tried desperately to win her back, Lin Wangshu, having escaped death, smiled and agreed.

"If that's the case, then the Qingyao Immortal Venerable had better make it up to me properly."

From miraculous medicines in the Immortal Leader's Palace to rare treasures from the far north.

From precious magical artifacts collected across many realms to ancient books and scrolls passed down through the ages.

Lin Wangshu accepted every compensation offered. Even when Bijue made nearly abject pleas, she continued to smile and agree.

Then, right in front of Bijue, she jumped without hesitation into the endless depths of the karmic flames, vanishing in body and soul and faking her death to escape.

*

Later still, the Ghost Realm and the cultivation world made a temporary pact to jointly repel an invasion from the Demon Realm.

Bijue, the Immortal Leader who commanded the cultivation world, naturally attended as agreed.

After the gathering, an invitation was presented to her. The woman holding it was stunningly beautiful and alluring. At her side was Lin Wangshu, the woman Bijue thought of day and night.

The woman smiled, bewitchingly beautiful.

"The Ghost King Wangshu and I are getting married soon. Would you honor us with your presence, big sister, my predecessor?"

Bijue accepted the invitation and lowered her eyes, quietly saying yes.

As she watched the two women walk away, her palm bled where her nails dug into it beneath her wide sleeve, but she could no longer find any reason to walk by Lin Wangshu's side.

Theme: Cherish the person by your side.
