Yan Fusheng spent twenty-nine years living wildly and breaking every rule. He thought he would welcome his loveless, faithless thirtieth year amid the ultimate pleasures of the world of fame and fortune.

But one day, as he dropped off his young lover at class, he caught sight of Jing Yun'an at the lectern. Like a dragonfly alighting on a flower, Jing Yun'an slowly fluttered his delicate wings, leaving Yan Fusheng restless and unable to sleep.

Not long afterward,

the bed shook violently. Yan Fusheng gripped his long hair, moving fiercely and roughly. "I told you, didn't I? Your body is begging me to fuck you."

Jing Yun'an clenched his teeth, refusing to make a sound, but his trembling and tears betrayed him.

Later still,

Jing Yun'an teased him. "Don't fall in love with me. You'll cry."

Yan Fusheng sneered. "Hmph. Shouldn't I be the one saying that to you?"

But when they turned away, both their smiles faded into sorrow.
