That Straight Female Friend with Skin Hunger

[Popular Campus Belle x Exceptionally Oblivious Bookworm] Ying Yuan and Yi Shanshan weren't close. But backstage in the changing room during the school arts festival, Yi Shanshan wrapped her arms around Ying Yuan and buried her face in the crook of her neck, rubbing and nuzzling the most delicate, sensitive patch of skin there as if she wanted to take a bite or two. Ying Yuan thought Yi Shanshan was crazy. Later, she looked it up and found out that Yi Shanshan really did have a condition: skin hunger, an overwhelming need to hug people. Ying Yuan was understanding toward her condition, but Yi Shanshan quickly got a taste for it and started pushing her luck. When she was nervous or anxious, she wanted to hug Ying Yuan. When she was excited, she wanted to hug Ying Yuan. When she was sad, she wanted to hug her, and when she was happy, she wanted to hug her even more. In summer, Yi Shanshan wanted to press her smooth limbs against Ying Yuan. In winter, she wanted to take off her coat and mask and hug her, radiating heat like a roaring furnace. It was their secret, and it caused Ying Yuan no end of trouble. Until one day, someone outed Ying Yuan in front of Yi Shanshan. "Hey, didn't you know? Our Ying Yuan is a little lesbian. She likes girls, but she's very proper. She changes clothes where no one can see her, and she won't even let anyone link arms with her on the street." Yi Shanshan looked over, her beautiful, narrow eyes foxlike, their gaze as cold as ice. Ying Yuan lowered her head, thinking that this was for the best. Now that Yi Shanshan knew she liked girls, she would be afraid of her, hate her, and secretly curse her for taking advantage of her. Surely she would stop pestering her. But around the next corner, Yi Shanshan hugged Ying Yuan again and demanded, "You're afraid other people will get the wrong idea if you touch them, so why aren't you afraid I'll get the wrong idea when you let me touch you?" Ying Yuan: "..." Yi Shanshan: "So other people are potential romantic partners, but I'm just an ordinary friend who can't make you feel a thing?" Ying Yuan: "..." Ying Yuan sighed. Sensitive yet oblivious, bold yet competitive. What a troublesome straight girl. Highly recommend the wonderful How to Raise a Mad, Beautiful Snake Demon by Liangpi Ya.
