Uzumaki Refuses to Get Involved with the Uchiha and Senju

Revised blurb:

A look at whether it’s possible to pose as a samurai while infiltrating the nobility, when you have no chakra, no support from a clan, and start with nothing but a sword.

In the Land of Fire during the Warring States Period, the Uchiha and Senju are locked in bloody battles while the other ninja tremble in fear. How am I supposed to make something of myself here, then return home and marry myself?

My ambitions can’t be too lofty. First, I need to stay alive.

But how did I end up rising through the ranks, until the nobles all hold me in such high regard? How did my position get higher and higher?

Qing couldn’t help giving him a dead-fish stare. I’ve actually made it all the way to the second-highest position in the Land of Fire?!

When my political enemy hired the Senju, I was ranting like crazy about how incredibly gutsy I was, while at the same time hiring their sworn enemies, the Uchiha, without a second thought.

Sorry, Senju. I know you’re related to us Uzumaki by marriage, but I’m trying to make something of myself and marry off every old man in my family!

“There’s something I want to tell you.” One day, the Uchiha’s second-in-command suddenly appeared beside Qing and invited her to look at the moon. “The moon is beautiful tonight.”

Qing looked up, thought of herself back home, waiting to be married, and nodded in agreement. “It is. It’s time for me to marry my fiancée.”

“…You have a fiancée?”

“Yes, yes! I’ve worked so hard to make something of myself so I can marry my fiancée!”

The other person seemed to freeze. I clearly heard him grit his teeth. “Then what do all the things you’ve done to me mean?”

Qing’s eyes widened in confusion. “Have I done anything to you?”

I’m going to marry myself, damn it, the old man’s always nagging me to go on a matchmaker date with the second-in-command of the Senju next door!

At the thought, Qing wore a sinister expression. Matchmaking, matchmaking, my foot! When I get back, I’ll drag you to the Senju compound and make you go on a date with Senju Tobirama!

About this story:

1. For most of the early story, the protagonist disguises herself as a man, a real man. Later, she can freely switch between male and female forms.

2. The protagonist will become the daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools and the Land of Fire.

3. The protagonist’s pairing is Izuna.

4. The protagonist really will marry herself, and she really will throw the old men into arranged marriages.

5. There are no truly good ninja. Everyone’s hands are stained with blood.

That’s it. Sorry to everyone who had already added the old version to their collection. I bow in apology: in the end, I rewrote the whole thing.

Theme: If you want an arranged marriage, arrange one for yourself!
