Sirius Black x Melvis White
The Black family and the White family stand at the head of the Sacred Twenty-Eight pure-blood families.
The heads of the two families compete behind the scenes, often tripping each other up.
In 1956, after the last two members of the White family died for the Dark Lord, only one child remained in the family.
The Black family naturally had their eye on the child, but the Dark Lord stepped in.
Looking at the little thing, the Dark Lord hesitated.
Is this the boy from the White family that gave everything for me?
Melvis White was raised by the Dark Lord from a young age.
He is a streak of white in the darkness, a black dot on a blank page.
Utterly pure, utterly adaptable, and utterly skilled at adjusting to his surroundings.
Perhaps out of the Dark Lord's twisted amusement, the Blacks and the Whites ended up together again.
Then Sirius imprinted Melvis's face on his mind.
