I Woke Up and Was Kidnapped by Aliens

I wrote this in early 2022. Looking at it now, there are lots of grammatical issues and pacing problems, not to mention more typos than I can count. Fixing them would be a headache, so I'm uploading it as a memento.

Shen Shiluo wakes up in an unfamiliar place, alongside many other people who have mysteriously arrived there. They are assigned strict daily schedules and have to take specific medications on time. If they fail to comply, they are punished.

Shen Shiluo and several others devise a plan to escape. Their only way out is an elevator leading to the upper levels. The medication modifies their bodies, helping them get closer to the upper levels, but they don't know that this only brings them closer to hell.

Formal title: The Watchers

We generally classify civilizations into multiple levels according to their degree of technological development. Higher-level civilizations hold direct rule over lower-level ones. Because higher-level civilizations differ in culture, each has its own approach to managing the lower-level civilizations under its supervision.

A civilization in which higher-level civilizations observe lower-level civilizations without attacking, befriending, or interfering with them is generally known as a Watcher civilization.

The Watcher Principles:

1. Do not attack the observed civilization, or engage with it in any way.

2. During observation, do not interfere with the observed civilization's development in any way.

1. The male lead doesn't really have a golden finger, but he's highly capable.

2. Some cultivation-style progression, mystery-solving, slow burn.
