Gu Yichu opened his eyes and discovered that he had somehow ended up inside a cyberpunk game he'd played. Before he could even leave the house, he had already ruined a major corporate scheme, and his worth skyrocketed in just ten minutes, meaning his bounty as a wanted criminal.

Luckily, an ad System came online just in time. All kinds of absurd abilities appeared, and in Gu Yichu's hands they became even more wondrous, making the System exclaim, “I knew you were the only one who understood!”

Seriously injured in an accident? Watch an ad and fast-forward to recovery!

Short on gear to take on a megacorp? Watch an ad and double your speed!

Surrounded in a crisis? Shake your device and teleport everyone away!

And so the megacorps encountered a terrifying foe with a powerful grudge. His ability to predict the future was terrifying, his technical skills were beyond measure. He appeared and disappeared like a monster, and even their very best efforts couldn't defeat him.

“I'm actually a very kind person. The people who offend me only lose their lives. But I have to bear the sin of becoming rich all by myself, along with the pressure of being adored by everyone.”

Gu Yichu's iron fists swept across the land, and everywhere he went, a movement to fight the megacorps for human rights surged forward. Public opinion was firmly on his side, and nothing could stop him. Looking back at the reports they'd published during that time, the media felt as though an invisible hand had slapped them across the face several times:

First month: Wanted petty thief Gu Yichu dares to provoke the Foundation?

Third month: The Foundation's ugly face exposed! Gu Yichu says he isn't afraid of retaliation!

Ninth month: Gu Yichu, the Federation's shining light, rises from the dead! Wherever he goes, the streets are packed!

Month N: Welcome the Federation's youngest Speaker to the capital to guide our work!

“Speaker, what conviction allowed you to remain fearless even when your life was at stake?”

“That's a secret.” Gu Yichu closed the page that let him watch ads to revive, and revealed an inscrutable smile.

Note: The protagonist transmigrated into the world in his own body, bringing both his outer shell and inner self along.

A resident with dozens of tentacles, currently chewing on a challenger's corpse: Sorry, Manager Qu. I'll be more careful next time.

Everyone has clearly become so civilized, so why hasn't the community's reputation improved?

[Why did they suddenly pile all the corpses together? There's a mountain of bodies in the community now!]

Qu Yunzhi notices some peculiar little life forms called “challengers.” These little lives are very fragile, and the residents' everyday activities could easily kill them.

Qu Yunzhi decides to protect these little lives, but more and more challengers pour into the community, and he can't keep an eye on every one of them.

The community's reputation seems to have gotten even worse!

Qu Yunzhi realizes that the challengers and the community's reputation are closely connected. He decides to solve the problem at its source: stop the challengers from entering the community!

Wait, what? Why has the community's reputation completely exploded?!

[What's going on?! The success rate has dropped all the way to zero!]

The community's residents notice that Manager Qu seems troubled. They decide to help him fulfill his wish!

And so, all sorts of eerie creatures leave their homes and gently knock on the challengers' hearts: Want to team up, friend? I'll carry you!

[Have I gone crazy? No! This world has gone crazy!]

Facing the final boss, the battered challengers are nearly in despair. Who could have guessed that Qu Yunzhi, the one called the ruler, is even more distraught on the other side?

He should've just said he needed his cooperation! They're going to miss the Outstanding Community awards!!!
