She struggled beneath heavy storm clouds; his arrival brought clear skies.

She would have found her own clear skies even without him. His arrival simply sped things up.

Zhu Qing Kong and Bi Xiao were giving each other the silent treatment.

Anyone could see something was wrong between them. They were both holding back, neither willing to talk to the other.

His friend didn't believe it and went over to Bi Xiao, unable to resist asking, “Can you really ignore her?” With his puppy-like tendency to chase after her, it was hard to imagine him not showing up wherever Zhu Qing Kong was.

“Don't stop talking to me,” Bi Xiao said, torn and hesitant, before finally steeling himself and adding, “Just talk to me... I'll give you my life!”

Zhu Qing Kong: “?”

A burst of laughter came from behind him. Bi Xiao turned around and saw several “bad influences” who had been giving him advice doubled over laughing.

Bi Xiao: ...

He looked awkwardly at Zhu Qing Kong and saw that she couldn't help laughing either. “What's wrong with you?”

Bi Xiao scratched his head and grinned. If she could laugh while scolding him, she probably wasn't mad anymore.
