A One-Kilometer

[School Life] [Healing] [Secret Crush]

Zhang Nanxue lived about a kilometer from school. She rode her bike in her first and second years of high school because it was faster. In her final year, the pressure mounted, and she began walking home after evening study. Those ten or so minutes on her own were one of the few times she could truly relax.

One evening after class, she had such a bad stomachache outside school that she couldn't walk. As she crouched down to rest, Qi Yuanyang came across her and offered to walk her home. She turned him down.

What she didn't expect was that from then on, they would spend those ten minutes walking together every day throughout their final year of high school.
