The White Moonlight Loves the Villain

After living for twenty-three years, Qi Tu finally discovers that he's the moonlight-white character in a melodramatic novel.

In the novel, the male lead and his love interest misunderstand each other and overcome all kinds of hardships before ending up together. Qi Tu, the moonlight-white character, is just a flavoring in their romance, a stepping stone to their happy ending.

When the male lead's mother waves a check for ten million yuan at him, the moonlight-white character even tearfully says, "Auntie, I don't care about money."

What nonsense. Who doesn't care about money? In the story, he just wants something even bigger. Of course, in the end he's exiled to some island abroad, where he lives a miserable life alone.

After awakening to the truth, Qi Tu can only say: What is wrong with you?

Who says the moonlight-white character has to love the male lead?

Forget ten million. Give him five million and he'll walk away with the money.

The plot is currently at the point where he returns from studying abroad, and the official male lead leaves his boyfriend behind to pick him up.

Thinking about how things end for him, Qi Tu smiles faintly, casually picks the best-looking, most striking man at the airport, puts an arm around his shoulder, and says to the official male lead, "Hey, long time no see."

At first, Qi Tu only wants a brief fling and a way to escape his predetermined fate.

Later, he realizes he's gone from one extreme to the other. This man doesn't seem easy to deal with either.

One day, after the two of them finish dinner and take a walk in the garden, the man beside him adjusts his monocle and suddenly says, "I really want to go to a deserted island with you, just the two of us, far away from everyone."

Qi Tu stumbles and stares at him, dumbfounded. "Huh?"

It's probably a cheesy, sweet little story. I'm posting it early. Feel free to bookmark it if you're interested~
