Childhood friends | Reunion after years apart | Six-year age gap
You're the only one for me
Fragile little princess x possessive, scheming older brother
1.
When Mu Xiazhi was little, the person she loved most was the older boy who lived upstairs. She was always clinging to him, wanting to play. Her parents told her that Brother Fu was pitiful: he had no parents and lived with his grandfather. They told Mu Xiazhi not to bully him and to be nice to him.
Little Mu Xiazhi took the advice to heart: be good to Brother Xinnian. So she shared her snacks with him, used her allowance to support him, and gave him the lovely new quilt her mother had bought for winter. Even the pretty dress her aunt had bought had to go to him!
But the brother who received the dress didn't seem very happy...
As she grew up, Mu Xiazhi envied her best friend for having an older brother. She drooled with envy. "I want a geigei too!"
She didn't say that she'd once had an older brother of her own. Unfortunately, he didn't want her anymore.
2.
The Fu family acknowledged the illegitimate son they'd had outside the family. Everyone said Fu Xinnian was lucky: if the Fu family's eldest son hadn't met with an accident, how could he have gone back and become the heir?
Only Fu Xinnian knew that he didn't care about being the heir, the money, or being accepted back into the family. His young heart had room for just one person, and he missed that little girl every moment of every day.
But when they met again, the girl wouldn't talk to him.
Fu Xinnian went to great lengths to get Mu Xiazhi to call him "big brother" again. But even that wasn't enough for him. He didn't want to be only her brother.
Bonus scene:
Fu Xinnian was injured. Mu Xiazhi's eyes reddened with worry, but she still refused to speak to him. When she stood to leave, Fu Xinnian hissed in pain. His face remained calm, but his eyes held such a pitiful look that Mu Xiazhi had to stop and sit back down.
He pressed on, his voice trembling as he whispered, "It hurts so much."
Sure enough, Mu Xiazhi sat back down, her eyes red as she stubbornly insisted, "That's what you get for moving around! Serves you right!"
Fu Xinnian carefully reached for her hand. Once he managed to hold it, he still frowned. "Could you blow on it for me? It really hurts."
Xiao Chen, Fu Xinnian's assistant, stood to the side, dumbfounded. Wait, was Young Master Fu acting cute?

"Maybe a Younger Brother Isn't So Bad After All"
Looks-obsessed heartbreaker x gloomy little puppy
1.
Xu Banqiu, the second child of the Xu family, takes her greatest pleasure in collecting men.
From a daddy type twelve years older than her to a cute little puppy eight years younger, from a professor who prides himself on his dignity to a passionate, provocative influencer, she's dated them all.
Xu Banqiu is beautiful and knows how to use it. Her interest in a man lasts only three weeks. She likes him best before she gets him; once they're together, her interest plummets, and she dumps him without hesitation.
After attending a banquet, Xu Banqiu sets her sights on the host family's eldest son. He's as cool and distant as the moon, and she's never dated his type before. But after several attempts to test the waters, he doesn't budge at all. For the first time, Xu Banqiu's looks and tactics have hit a wall.
Xu Banqiu: Don't like me? Now this is getting interesting.
Giving up isn't in her vocabulary. Just as she's preparing to rise to the challenge, the man's younger brother comes looking for her.
Shen Sui and Shen Yan have completely different personalities. Shen Yan is always cool and unreadable, but Shen Sui's puppy eyes are always bright, and they curve when he smiles. He corners Xu Banqiu against a wall without a sound, then smiles and asks, "Big Sister, if my brother doesn't know what's good for him, how about me? I'm very well-behaved."
Xu Banqiu looks him over carefully.
Happy little puppies like him are everywhere, and she's dated two before, but it's rare to find one with Shen Sui's looks.
Xu Banqiu falls for him again. Maybe a younger brother isn't so bad after all.
2.
Shen Sui is a bit clingy, and Xu Banqiu doesn't really like clingy men.
But he's so handsome, and she's become a little addicted to him. Even after three weeks, she still likes him quite a lot.
Oh well, she can put up with him being clingy.
It's just that Shen Sui's possessiveness is as boundless as his energy. Now that she's with him, Xu Banqiu can't even look at another man.
What a joke. There's no way she'd give up the whole forest for one tree.
Besides, she's made so many exceptions for him. Shen Sui is already special enough to her. They might as well part on good terms.
She just hadn't expected to wake up after getting drunk and find herself locked inside Shen Sui's apartment.
Shen Sui smiled brightly. "Big Sister, no one can tempt you here."
"You can only be mine."
I said I liked you. I didn't say I only liked you.
Love is about fighting for someone, about possession.
But if it's you, I'm willing to put aside my obsession and learn all over again how to love you.
Theme: Become the sun that lights your own way.
Thank you writer, [rose][rose] Thanks for the limited fee!
So pitiful, so distressed, so good 😭
Maybe it's because I'm a more extreme person. After eight years of disappearing, the male protagonist was able to calm him down with just a few words. But in the past eight years, not only has he disappeared for eight years, but also the heroine's worldview has been reshaped and the people around her have changed over the past eight years. These are all barriers.
Where is the welfare extra?
Alas, the front is okay, but the back is a bit... The things that happen to me are too realistic, including parents, love, and roommate relationships. I feel that only the love aspect is solved, but I always feel that the heroine's grievances for so many years cannot be resolved by getting love? Okay, I just want to criticize the heroine's parents, but I can't stand it :-( Overall, the writing is okay.
Very good novel, it made my heart surge
6? Isn't it 5?
