Staying Alive by Getting Close in Sports Anime

[Group-Chat Rescue Story, Mainly Haikyuu!!]

The main story is complete, and the extras are in progress. Next up: Hiphop Saves the World of Detective Conan, Why Won't Sakusa Say Anything? Please add it to your reading lists~

One day, Jinguji Raiha suddenly gained the ability to see her own and other people's HP bars. Then her body began rapidly deteriorating, and the doctors declared she wouldn't live another six months.

Heartbroken and hopeless, she transferred to Miyagi to wait for death. By chance, she bonded with a System called the Cuddles for Extra Life System: Sports Anime Edition, and learned that because she wasn't a character in any anime, the world's consciousness was automatically correcting and erasing her.

To survive, her only option was to cuddle up to the major sports anime characters around her, earn points, and exchange them for more life. Hugging Shiratorizawa's captain: +15 points. Getting a head pat from a certain Karasuno middle blocker: +15 points. Jinguji Raiha declared: To stay alive, I don't mind being mistaken for a lunatic (not really) (exhausted).

A certain external director at the admissions office: Raiha says I'm her portable charger.

A certain handsome genius setter: She told me that you can only kiss someone if you like each other.

A certain tall, venomous middle blocker: The moon is only a perfect match for another moon. What would an idiot know about love?

A certain compassionate captain: But I'm her first love.

The ending is 1v1, and this story has everything you're looking for~ At heart, it's a romance anime inside a sports anime.

See the author's note in Chapter 1 for content warnings.

One more thing to emphasize: this isn't a fluffy, carefree romance full of cuddles. It's a sweet, character-growth story with a plot and a central storyline. Love nurtured through growth is even more beautiful and moving, and watching the boys help each other grow and cuddle is even more heartwarming. If that's a dealbreaker for you, please decide for yourself whether to stay. See you in the next book, and sorry for the trouble (bows).
