Haikyuu!! 101

As the whole world grew wary of the enormous "Black Box" that had appeared in the sky, leaders of nations received invitations from it.

[Greetings. We are the Black Box Empire from an ancient star system. Through observation, we have discovered that you are now qualified to ascend to a higher dimension. We have come as an advance team to communicate with you.]

[As the saying goes, the future of the world belongs to the young. We sincerely invite qualified young people from your country to take part in an intensive six-month training program, after which they will compete in a friendly exchange match against our young representatives.]

[If you win, we are willing to offer rewards substantial enough to tempt you. Attached are the exchange rules and the list of rewards available for points.]

[Congratulations! You have been selected for the volleyball intensive training team (Neon Region).]

[If you wish to become the world's number one volleyball player, please sign the enclosed waiver and report to the NEWWORLD Building by 9 a.m. this Friday...]

[The Black Box guarantees that here, you can learn anything you want.]

A mostly volleyball-focused story set against a vast world backdrop. The setup is broadly similar to Blue Lock, just without quite so much self-interest.

The blurb may change, but the core won't. Once I've finished updating the other story, I'll come back and work on this one.

A screenshot of the blurb was saved on December 24, 2023.

Theme: God deals the cards, but we play the game.
