Xiao Bai, whose real name was Xiao Bai, was Experimental Subject X20, the Eden Project's core product. Abandoned in a derelict building, he had lived in hiding for years, like a sewer rat, until one day a Sentinel named Duan Huai entered his life and brought a ray of light to his dark existence.
From that day on, Xiao Bai had something new to hope for.
Bottom's perspective:
Duan Huai was a Sentinel who considered himself an optimistic, kind-hearted, all-around good guy. Then one day, while on a mission, he came across a Guide named Xiao Bai.
This Guide named Xiao Bai completely upended everything he thought he knew about the world.
Everything he had once been familiar with gradually became strange.
But that was all right. He had Xiao Bai, and he was willing to take on the whole world for love.
