Shi Xu is one of the LPL's top junglers, yet he's wasting his talent on the worst team in the league. With the team on the verge of disbanding, Shi Yu transfers to another team.
He thinks of himself as a badass, but has to act sweet and obedient in front of his online boyfriend.
A new coach arrives at the team: Shen Xihuai.
When he walks in, Shi Xu has a lollipop between his teeth, trash-talking someone over voice chat. His voice is so loud it carries all the way to the stairwell. "Stay right there. I'll go buy you two oranges."
Shen Xihuai stands in the doorway and looks at him. "You get fined for arguing with people in-game."
"But I didn't even swear."
Shen Xihuai chuckles. "Is that so?"
Only then does Shi Xu belatedly realize that the new coach's voice sounds a lot like his online boyfriend's.
At the team house, Shi Xu keeps up his badass persona. But whenever he chats and games with his online boyfriend, he acts sweet and obedient.
Until one day, he accidentally makes a voice call to his online boyfriend, and the new coach's phone starts ringing.
He hangs up and calls again. Shen Xihuai's phone rings once more.
If that's a coincidence, it's an awfully big one, isn't it?
Later, the coach uses the support player's account to queue up with Shi Xu, supposedly to teach him a new support strategy. Seeing the familiar moves, Shi Xu wants to find a block of tofu and bash his head against it.
He tells his online boyfriend they should break up because they're not right for each other.
That very night, Shen Xihuai corners him outside his dorm room, still wearing the fluffy pajamas he just changed into.
Shen Xihuai tugs on the pajama top's rabbit ears and threatens him. "Break up with me, and I'll send out pictures of you in these fluffy pajamas."
He thinks of dating Shen Xihuai as punishment for the way he talks back to people.
After the team wins the championship, Shen Xihuai won't even let him return to the team house. He insists on taking him somewhere.
Even when the red marriage certificate is placed in his hands, Shi Yu is still dazed.
Shen Xihuai takes the certificate from him and puts it away for safekeeping. Shi Xu punches him twice. "I thought you were my coach. You wanted to be my husband?"
