After the Mafia Dating Sim Ends, I Reunite with Them as a Police Officer

Lin Yi, 18, is a pure-blooded Chinese girl who has just finished her college entrance exams. After more than a decade of science education, she was looking forward to the wonderful vacation that came after the exams. But the day before it began, a friend tricked her into playing a Mafia-themed otome game, forcing her into the game world. In a country where she doesn't speak the language, she starts with a naturally frail constitution debuff. Forget romancing anyone: even basic survival is a struggle. How will she complete the romance missions and make it safely back to the real world?

Bentan Yi: Thanks for asking. I'm in Namimori, surrounded by angels, but I'm about to die of illness (laughs).

After years of working diligently on the romance routes and watching the childhood friends around her grow up, Bentan Yi feels deeply satisfied, except... What do you mean all your affection levels are stuck at 99, you jerks?!

Looking at the string of bright red 99s on the screen, Bentan Yi drags her soon-to-collapse body over to the romance targets gathered around her, dying with resentment.

But after she dies of her illness, the dormant System screen suddenly blazes with light, and every affection level of 99 instantly reaches 100!

As the System announces, "Congratulations, you've cleared the game!" Bentan Yi returns to her original world. But before she can relax, a letter from someone in Yokohama, Japan, who claims to be her adoptive father, suddenly appears at her front door.

Lin Yi: What? I have a Japanese adoptive father?!

The man, who identifies himself as her adoptive father, Natsume Soseki, invites her to attend university in Japan. Lin Yi is already planning to pick another language and take the college entrance exams again, so she agrees without a second thought.

As if! Under Teacher Reborn's devilish training, if she fails to get into the University of Tokyo, Teacher Reborn will toss her straight into the Sanzu River :)

So, after a year of preparation, Lin Yi successfully gets into the University of Tokyo and arrives on campus with all her luggage.

Lin Yi, who joined the Mafia early on in the game: Honestly, the University of Tokyo has so many handsome guys! This kind-hearted upperclassman with blond hair and dark skin is every bit as handsome as Dino-senpai!

Before You Read:

* This is a non-traditional RPG. There is no such thing as grinding stats.

* The heroine doesn't speak the language early on, so she pretends to be mute. She gradually learns Japanese later (thanks to Reborn's Spartan training :)

* The male lead is undecided. I was originally going to write two separate stories, but decided to combine them. The first part focuses on Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and the later part crosses over with Bungou Stray Dogs and Detective Conan.

* Out-of-character portrayals ahead. Read at your own risk!!!

Theme: Love and friendship
