A New and Improved Gentleman [Gb]

Wu Shuangman is a trainer at an upscale equestrian club, where she meets all kinds of wealthy people.

The club has one especially revered member. He's skilled at English riding, and when he sits tall on his horse, he has an air of refined elegance.

After serving him, a colleague came back and counted his generous tip. "Shuangman, you really missed out by switching shifts today!"

Wu Shuangman was a woman of few words. She slung her bag over her shoulder and left work, passing through a damp, cramped alley. When she pushed open the old door...

The man her colleagues had been talking about was kneeling before her, legs apart and head bowed. His trousers clung to the contours of his muscles, utterly out of place in these shabby surroundings.

Jin Yanhe was renowned throughout the city. By day, he was always the one people bowed and scraped to. But in this narrow alley and cramped, dark room, even lifting his head to look at the moon outside was a luxury.

She gripped his chin in her fist. "What, are you unhappy?"

A rare flash of anger appeared in Jin Yanhe's eyes. As he struggled, the riding crop in her hand scraped a red mark across his cheek.

"No, Mistress," he said through gritted teeth, each word distinct.
