Dad Takes the Imperial Exam, While I Lie Flat

The whole Song family transmigrates.

Father: Song Yanxu.

Mother: Lan Jinying.

The baby... no, the universally detested, lazy college student Song Xiaolan, whose formal name is Song Jingzhi.

Song Mom says: I gave you the wrong nickname back then. I should've called you Hardworking!

Song Dad says: Song the Lazy, do you think you're still a kid? Adults need to work hard!

Then, after the whole family transmigrates,

three-year-old Song Xiaolan reaches out with his short arms and legs and pats his father's forehead. "Adults need to work hard."

Go on, Dad. You're still young, so go take the imperial exams and build a future for yourself!

Song Dad's own words have finally come back to stab him.

Just as Song Xiaolan is ready to lie flat and enjoy another happy childhood,

Song Mom grabs him by the collar. "Did you think you could get out of this?"

She throws him straight into school!

Honey, take your lazy little brat to school with you!

Ancient women are supposed to support their husbands and raise their children?

No. Song Mom is going back to work, even as an ancient housewife!
