Reborn as the Demon King

A modern woman with level-ten social anxiety dies because she's too lazy to go downstairs.

When she closes her eyes and opens them again, she's lying inside a cracked egg.

Outside the eggshell are the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Realm.

The Four Heavenly Kings: We've waited eight hundred years. Our Demon King is finally about to hatch

One day...

Two days...

One month...

Two months...

The Demon King, who should have hatched as soon as the egg cracked, still hasn't moved.

The Four Heavenly Kings kneel and beg the Demon King: Your Majesty, what is it about this world that displeases you?

The new Demon King: ...

She's just socially anxious. If you all leave, she'll sneak out on her own.

*****Socially Anxious Demon King Break*****

After reincarnating, the Demon King comes up with all sorts of little inventions to avoid having to talk to anyone.

For example, the "thousand-mile voice transmitter," a copper tube that lets people talk between floors.

Then there's the vampire bat, which can carry messages by flying, using a demon-realm salamander as its bait.

And, and, and the little puppets she molds from magma, mud, and stone.

To give the Four Heavenly Kings something to do

The Demon King introduces board games to the Demon Realm, brews signature wines, and makes local specialties.

In the end, she even comes up with movies, variety shows, novels, and online games!

The Four Heavenly Kings have their lives filled with all kinds of entertainment.

But why, even though she's become this low-key, do human heroes keep showing up one after another to defeat her?

Demon King: Listen, I'm the president of the Demon Realm's Antiwar Alliance and an ambassador for world peace...
